Connect HubSpot to collect CRM access control and data handling evidence that supports privacy-related compliance frameworks.

What is HubSpot?

HubSpot is a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform used for marketing, sales, and customer service. Because it stores personal data about your customers and leads, it is relevant to privacy-focused compliance frameworks. Connecting HubSpot lets Imara collect evidence about how access to that data is controlled.

What Imara collects from HubSpot

  • User accounts and their assigned roles
  • Permission sets and data access levels
  • Account security settings — 2FA enforcement status
  • Connected apps and OAuth integrations

Required permissions

Imara connects via OAuth with a Super Admin HubSpot account. The requested scopes are read-only:

  • settings.users.read — read user accounts and roles
  • oauth — authorize the connection

Imara does not access, export, or store any contact or personal data from HubSpot.

How to connect

  1. In Imara, go to Integrations and select HubSpot.
  2. Click Connect. You will be redirected to HubSpot.
  3. Sign in with a Super Admin account and approve the requested scopes.
  4. You will be redirected back to Imara and the sync will begin.

Frameworks supported

SOC 2, ISO 27001, LGPD, GDPR, CCPA.

What to expect

Imara maps HubSpot access controls to data governance and privacy controls. This is particularly relevant for organizations pursuing LGPD, GDPR, or CCPA compliance, where access to personal data must be controlled and documented.
