Connect Render to collect evidence about your hosted services, access controls, and deployment pipeline for compliance purposes.

What is Render?

Render is a cloud platform for deploying web services, static sites, databases, and background workers. If your team uses Render, this integration gives Imara visibility into your hosted services and team access for compliance monitoring.

What Imara collects from Render

  • Service and web app configurations
  • Team member roles and permissions
  • Environment variable keys (values are never read or stored)
  • Database and background service configurations

Required permissions

Imara connects using a Render API key. Generate one in Render → Account Settings → API Keys. Read-only access is sufficient.

How to connect

  1. In Render, go to Account Settings → API Keys and generate a new key.
  2. In Imara, go to Integrations and select Render.
  3. Paste the API key and click Connect.
  4. Imara will validate and start the initial sync.

SOC 2, ISO 27001.

What to expect

After connection, Imara maps your Render configuration to access management and change management controls in your active frameworks. Evidence is collected automatically on each sync.
